A MILLION DOLLAR DEATH: Story of five billionaires who died in the Titanic submarine.
At the time of writing this blog,I am in Kenya and minding other people's business as usual. There are many things I don't like about this titanic submersible or submarine whatever.
Why would a normal human being in his right mind pay about 35 million Kenyan shillings (250,000$) just to see a 100 year old boat wreck . Isn't that insanity?
At the time of writing this article, the 96 hours of oxygen that had been carried in the submarine, is believed to have already been depleted and there has not been a sight of them yet. I don't want to disclose the full names of the people on board but it is believed that the 5 people in that submarines are billionaires if not millionaires. I am talking of people worth great fortunes.
Sources have revealed that this men are about 12000 feet underwater. A height that not even a whale can survive. Total darkness under water. What a nightmare. The famous titanic is believed to be at 12,500feet.
One of the billionaires, a dad and a Pakistani business man, 48 years of age, decided it wise to take his 19 year old son with him to view the wreck of the Titanic on a small screen for whatever reason. I don't want to give my opinion on this but this billionaires must been a bit shallow minded. What would have been the cost of helping the needy on their countries rather than having a million dollar death.
Sources have it that at the time of writing this article, is the passengers on board are already dead. A tragedy that would have been avoided. If they are still alive my prayer is may they be found and if they are already dead may their souls rest in peace.
In reality, they were curious human beings with money to blow on obviously the wrong aspects. Would I do it? Obviously not. But think of it this way, there are times when you blow some dollars to attend a popular artists concert . It is definitely the same thing. Did you need to spend the money? Obviously no, you were just curious to have your excitement notched and so you spent the money anyways.
Iam not happy with people spreading heartless quotes, jokes and memes on this matter. They are humans, stranded at the bottom of nowhere. Let their families grieve and mourn their lost loved ones in peace!!
